Snow Day Assignment
Creating an interesting presentation like Steve Jobs
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
1) Hook 'em
Figure out something creative with a bit of "wow factor" to get your audiences initial
interest
2) Speak enthusiastically
Don't bore your listeners by being monotone and uninterested in your own presentation:
what you have to say is the most important thing on the planet and your attitude and
voice need to convince your listeners of that
3) Use descriptor words
Use words such as "amazing, exceptional, astounding, astonishing, incomparable," etc.
4) Outline your speech
Use a line to like, "I would like to discuss four common misconceptions about alcohol,"
to help keep your listeners attention and to keep them on the same page
5) Use visuals to keep it interesting and lively
Self-explanatory
6) PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE!
Multimedia use in a speech by Ze Frank:
Every second or third point Ze Frank made had an interactive component, whether that be digital animation or some website or some cleverly designed power point. This served to capture and hold the listeners interests.

Year book video suggestion
Montage, montage, montage. Montages uses rapid picture changes or short clip segments to highlight memorable experiences and rather than telling the viewer what to think about video segments, promote discussions and reminiscing.
As to what type of pictures should be shown during the film, pictures taken this semester. A sort of "candid camera" that shows RCHS students after we've adjusted to our classes and frankly, become lazy getting ready in the mornings. Also, the two to three minute film clip should include at least thirty seconds of prom shots.

Takeaway item
For my takeaway item, I was originally thinking like some sort of drink that is an alcohol substitute. Another idea I had was to hand out flyer for AA or another similar organization. However, the best idea yet was to make keychains that serve as a self-test of how drunk you are and whether you are fit to drive or not.
